  5. Canasta is being released as shareware.  Copies may be
  6. distributed by BBSes, FTP sites, CD-ROMs, disk vendors, etc..., with

  46. - The package should be listed under the name 
  47.   "Canasta V2.3 Windows strategy cardgame"

  49. - Vendors who have a copy which is dated more than 1 year ago should check
  50.   to see if there is a newer edition before distributing the package.

  52. - Any vendor publication which lists CANASTA must clearly have an
  53.   explanation of the shareware concept.  This information must be
  54.   visible to customers before they pay a fee to the vendor.

  56. - The abstract in the FILE_ID.DIZ file contains text recommended
  57.   for use as a description for this package.

  59. - This package should not be bundled as part of another product
  60.   without permission.

  62. - CANASTA is copyrighted shareware.  It should never be classified as
  63.   public domain or free software.

  65. - License for the registered version is not transferable.

  70. - Those who enjoy CANASTA and play regularly are expected to
  71.   register with the author.  Users are given a 21 day evaluation
  72.   period.  The registration form can be printed by typing
  73.   "COPY REGISTER.TXT PRN" at the DOS prompt.

  76.   this program are VERY MUCH encouraged to send me a copy of the
